Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for leading large-scale warehouse and distribution centre operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of all warehousing activities. The incumbent will drive operational excellence, optimize resource utilization, and ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry best practices. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing large, diverse teams across multiple shifts in a dynamic operational environment.

A day in the life:

• Lead and manage a large workforce comprising permanent employees, contract staff, and third-party service providers to deliver operational excellence.
• Direct daily warehouse and shift activities to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of inbound, storage, stock management and outbound operations.
• Provide leadership through frontline supervisors and team leaders, fostering high performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Effectively manage operational complexities while balancing service delivery, productivity, people leadership, and stakeholder expectations.
• Champion compliance with Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), Quality, and CARE standards, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring seamless coordination of inbound, outbound, inventory management, and dispatch activities including waste management.
• Drive performance management through the monitoring, analysis, and achievement of key operational KPIs.
• Maximize the utilization of people, equipment, warehouse space, and other operational resources to improve productivity and efficiency (capacity planning).
• Promote and enforce warehouse best practices, including inventory accuracy, traceability, FEFO compliance, and effective stock control.
• Drives strict adherence to best warehouse practices including First Expired-First Out (FEFO), traceability, etcetera.
• Develop a problem-solving mindset within the team to proactively drive innovation and improvement initiatives including waste reduction.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and performance of the warehouse operations.
• Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at the factory, within Supply Chain, Procurement and amongst external partners such as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers.
• Coach, train and develop the warehouse team with the required technical and leadership competencies to deliver.
• Contribute to a globally recognized brand known for operational excellence and people development.

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, with strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, distribution, and physical logistics.
