PURPOSE

The Warehouse Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all property receiving, inventory control, and internal distribution. This role optimizes supply chain workflows to seamlessly support 24/7 high-volume casino, hotel, and F&B operations while driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering team development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shipping, Logistics & Distribution Management: Manage and lead the property's inbound/outbound shipping networks and logistics operations, optimize carrier management and freight logistics to mitigate transport disruptions while ensuring accurate, cost-effective internal delivery of goods to dining outlets, retail shops, hotel tower, and casino floor departments.
  • Sustainable Logistics & Supply Chain Practices: Drive initiatives to reduce the property's carbon footprint by consolidating freight shipments, optimizing carrier delivery schedules to minimize dock traffic, and implementing energy-saving warehouse practices.
  • Supply Chain Systems Integration: Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to automate picking and cycle-counting workflows, seamlessly integrating warehouse metrics with property-wide procurement, finance, and food & beverage operations.
  • Inventory Control & Asset Optimization: Drive the auditing of inventory control software to ensure real-time tracking integrity across all dry, cold, and high-value gaming storage platforms. Establish strategic PAR levels for F&B, operational supplies, and guest amenities to minimize holding costs and waste.
  • Asset & Attic Stock Management: Partner with the Facilities team to track lifecycle, organization and storage of hotel attic stock (extra furniture, fixtures, and equipment). Proactively assist the Facilities team on replacement strategies to prevent room downtime, protect the guest experience, and maximize property revenue.
  • Warehouse Layout & Property Governance: Provide high-level operational oversight to the warehouse team by establishing performance KPIs, maintaining control over floor operations, and continuously refining the warehouse layout to maximize spatial efficiency and workflow for mixed-commodity storage (including dry goods, cold storage, and company assets).
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety Culture: Enforce strict adherence to local and federal OSHA regulations, state gaming commission asset controls, and health department food safety codes to maintain constant audit readiness while fostering a zero-injury workplace culture.
  • Talent Management: Directly guide the Warehouse Supervisor in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and coaching of warehouse Team Members, administering corrective action, executing performance reviews, and issuing formal write-ups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Five (5) years of warehouse operations experience, with three (3) years of experience leading others in a supervisory or manager role. Experience in a high-volume hospitality, casino, or resort environment is strongly preferred.
  • Pallet jack and forklift certification preferred.
  • OSHA-approved train-the-trainer certifications for warehouse equipment preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Technological Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms, deep inventory database logic, and familiarity with Agilysys Eatec preferred.
  • Strategic Inventory Control: Mastery of inventory accounting methodologies, data entry governance, cycle-counting, and PAR level configuration for mixed commodities.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to manage professional workflows, establish KPIs, and guide supervisors through performance management.
  • Financial & Analytical Acumen: Skilled at isolating supply chain discrepancies, auditing inventory variances, and monitoring labor and holding costs.
  • Spatial Design & Logistics Management: Strong understanding of warehouse layouts, spatial efficiency, attic stock (FF&E) tracking, and carrier transport logistics.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA mandates, health department food safety/cold-storage regulations, and proper material handling protocols.
  • Communication: Exceptional capacity to clearly present structural logistics metrics, inventory audit results, and capacity forecasts to executive leaders.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Sharp critical-thinking skills to quickly mitigate transit disruptions, vendor short-ships, and bottlenecks to prevent property downtime.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
