Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be a key part of our Global Supply Chain Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. Together with our World-Class Team, you will play an empowering role in delivering systems for one of Romania's most significant defense procurement programs, with drone assembly taking place entirely in Romania under the European SAFE initiative. The Romanian production site will not only support local defense programs but will also contribute to fulfilling customer orders across Europe and support the delivery of mission-critical systems for Ukraine, reinforcing Quantum Systems' commitment to strengthening European security and defense capabilities.

You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality teams to establish and manage efficient warehouse operations supporting Quantum Systems' rapidly growing manufacturing footprint in Romania. As part of the Global Supply Chain organization, your mission will be to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and reliable warehousing processes that support the on-time delivery of mission-critical systems across Europe and Ukraine.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Lead and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material handling, inventory control, and shipping activities.

  • Establish and maintain efficient warehouse processes that support production requirements and business growth.

  • Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counting, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.

  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and material flow processes to maximize efficiency and safety.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities and ensure timely material availability for production.

  • Collaborate closely with Material Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to support production schedules and customer deliveries.

  • Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality requirements.

  • Lead and develop warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive warehouse digitalization and process improvement initiatives using ERP and inventory management systems.

  • Support production ramp-up activities and future warehouse capacity expansion.

  • Identify operational risks and implement measures to improve warehouse reliability and inventory accuracy.

Requirements


What you bring to the team:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Several years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

  • Experience leading warehouse teams within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar industries.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, warehouse processes, and logistics operations.

  • Experience working with ERP, WMS, and inventory management systems.

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and operational best practices.

  • Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments and production-related material flows.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Professional fluency in English.

  • Romanian language
