Siemens a global powerhouse is in need of a Warehouse Manager to join their Grand Prairie, TX Breaker plant This individual will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, maintaining effective inventory practices including a robust cycle count process, receiving, distribution and maintenance operations. You will ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising training and monitoring. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for a team of (2) supervisors and 20-30 material handlers.

You will make an impact by:

  • Strategic Oversight of MANUFACTURING Warehouse and External Logistics: Manage comprehensive warehouse operations, encompassing receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, while also directing all inbound and outbound material movements to and from our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider.
  • Advanced Inventory Management & Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems for both on-site and 3PL-managed stock, ensuring high levels of accuracy, cycle count adherence, and real-time visibility to support production and Kanban requirements.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled warehouse team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all internal and external logistics functions.
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize warehouse layouts, and ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards for all materials, including those handled by the 3PL.
  • System & Data Management: Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant tools to track inventory, manage 3PL transactions, generate operational reports, and provide critical data for strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Production, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to align inventory strategies, optimize material flow, and ensure seamless support for manufacturing operations, including Kanban replenishment.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Five years experience in a manufacturing warehouse, supply a manufacturing lines(s) as well as DC type operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex warehouse operations, including significant experience with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) integration and oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced inventory control techniques, including the application of Kanban and JIT principles for production support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage inventory across multiple locations (on-site and 3PL) and ensure data integrity.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management
  • Proficiency with SAP WM and IM modules
  • License to operate a forklift

The pay range for this position is $67,544 - $115,790 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
