Wood Dale, IL | Full-Time, Non-Exempt Pay: $60,000–$70,000/year, DOE
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their Midwest Operations team. In this role, you'll support the General Manager in running day-to-day warehouse operations — directing receiving, storage, value-added servicing, and dispatch across a wide variety of products. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, and management to keep inventory accurate and warehouse processes running smoothly.

Ensure inventory accuracy and drive operational efficiency
Manage warehouse product modification processes
Align priorities with the Inside Sales team
Drive continuous improvement to optimize turnaround time
Plan warehouse layout for efficient space utilization
Orient, coach, and motivate staff; manage scheduling, productivity, and safety compliance
Maintain compliance with OSHA, hygiene, and safety standards
Support budgeting: prepare annual budget, track expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transportation companies
Conduct annual physical inventory
5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience (bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome)
A steady, progressive career path in warehouse/logistics roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with a culturally diverse team
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or EDI systems is a plus; ASRS automation experience is a plus
