The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations in our busy Victorian facility. As a Warehouse Leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely order dispatch, inventory integrity, and a safe working environment. You’ll manage a motivated team, implement process improvements, and collaborate with Sales and Logistics to deliver exceptional service and optimize distribution strategies to ensure a relentless customer focus.

• The day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Core to this is the allocation of resources between the inbound, outbound and inventory teams as well as the management of their direct teams.

• Effectively manages and monitors the warehouse’s operational budget, ensuring all cost centres—including labour, equipment, consumables, and third‑party services—operate within agreed financial targets.

• Lead and manage a high-performing team through structured performance management, coaching, and regular one-on-one meetings
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all inbound shipments (finished goods, raw materials, sample stock) within KPI targets.
• Manage outbound shipments to meet customer, export, and DRP dispatch requirements in line with business KPIs.
• Coordinate transportation schedules to prioritize urgent shipments and maintain efficient product flow, avoiding bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Sales and Logistics teams to develop distribution strategies and conduct customer site visits to understand requirements.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy through leading a team to comply with daily cycle counts and investigation of discrepancies with corrective actions.
• Drive quality and safety standards by developing work instructions, auditing practices, implementing improvement actions, and championing WHS and risk management to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
