Warehouse Manager

Location: Moody, AL

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year

Bonus: Up to 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Bluegrass Supply Chain Services is hiring an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Moody, AL. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for safety, team performance, inventory accuracy, customer service, productivity, and continuous improvement.

This is a strong opportunity for a warehouse leader with experience in warehouse management, shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, labor planning, safety, and team leadership.

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the operation, develop team members, drive key performance indicators, and partner with Bluegrass leadership and customer contacts to support operational success.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer support
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse supervisors, team leads, and hourly team members
• Build a safe, organized, and accountable work environment
• Manage labor planning, workflow, productivity, quality, safety, and inventory accuracy
• Track and improve key performance indicators related to service, cost, productivity, safety, and inventory
• Conduct process reviews, time studies, audits, and root cause analysis
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operational performance
• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, audits, system discipline, and corrective actions
• Partner with customer contacts and Bluegrass leadership to resolve issues and improve service
• Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, material flow, and equipment usage
• Maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training processes
• Support operational reporting, invoicing, labor planning, and administrative requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience required
• Experience leading teams in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or 3PL environment
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse safety
• Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvement plans
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to work on-site in Bowling Green, KY

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience in a 3PL, customer-facing warehouse, manufacturing support, or distribution environment
• Experience with lean, continuous improvement, time studies, process audits, or root cause analysis

Pay and Benefits

• Salary range: $78,000–$84,000 per year
