Our award-winning client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team.This Warehouse Operations Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a team responsible for all aspects of our medical equipment warehouse. You'll ensure smooth operations, maximize efficiency, and drive results that meet customer needs and boost profitability.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Continuously improve warehouse processes to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Manage carrier routings and vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and supplier management.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse efficiency per customer.
Champion the Quality Management System (QMS) to enhance service offerings and secure new contracts.
Implement and oversee warehouse safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Manage warehouse upkeep and maintenance to guarantee optimal functionality.
Train staff on all aspects of their roles, including safety procedures and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO, Hazmat)
Actively participate in management meetings, providing insightful reports and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in a medical products/equipment or medical warehouse environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Experience with ISO regulatory requirements a plus.
Understanding of Hazmat rules and procedures beneficial.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel for reporting purposes.
3-5 years of experience operating material handling equipment (both powered and manual).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
