Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee all warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, optimizing workflows, and implementing efficient processes to drive productivity and accuracy. The Warehouse Manager will also ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while supporting overall operational goals.
This is a full-time on-site position with benefits located in the greater Detroit area.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency and performance. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods
  • Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance targets and operational goals
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Analyze operational data and prepare reports to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
