Christchurch Warehouse Manager

Rolleston, Canterbury

Medifab and Spex are seeking a driven and commercially astute Christchurch Warehouse Manager to lead our dual warehouse operations based in Rolleston. This is a newly created leadership role with a clear mandate: optimise performance, strengthen culture, and deliver speed and accuracy to our customers.

The Opportunity

You will oversee two warehouse operations at the same site, leading Team Leaders and their wider teams. Your focus will be to streamline processes, improve inventory accuracy, redesign flow for productivity, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

This is not a caretaking role. It is a transformation role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Optimising warehouse layout, racking, pick paths and slotting for efficiency
• Driving inventory accuracy (target 98–99%) and reducing discrepancies
• Establishing and embedding meaningful warehouse KPIs
• Improving OTIF and speed to customer
• Implementing Lean practices (5S, standard work, visual management)
• Building cross-skilled, accountable, high-performing teams
• Leading change professionally and constructively
• Championing proactive health & safety leadership
