Job Description

Duties and responsibilities
in this position are:

  1. Maintain a proper and safe working environment
  2. Manage the companies complete field assets
  3. Maintain and improve fleet vehicles and equipment
  4. Maintain and train employees on the use of AT&T Fleet Complete / Big Road Trucker
  5. Provide Fleet Complete reports to Management
  6. Maintain equipment service records
  7. Maintain parts vendors and price shopping
  8. Order and maintain parts stock fast moving parts
  9. Maintain shop and property maintenance
  10. Maintain FMCA / DOT requirements and inspections
  11. Providing vehicle title / registration list to management as needed
  12. Delegate daily repair tasks to the company's technicians
  13. Inspects, tests, and adjusts equipment
  14. Diagnoses difficult problems and recommends repairs
  15. Contacts dealers and manage heavy equipment warranties
  16. Ensure all necessary tooling is sent to each job site through coordination with project managers / foreman
  17. Ensure employees properly care for tooling, equipment, vehicles, etc.
  18. Report all vehicle mileage at the beginning of the month to office manager
  19. Perform yearly documented inspections on equipment
  20. Keep inventory of all tooling
  21. Perform employee education as needed for proper equipment care and usage
  22. Maintain report on credit card purchases
  23. Locate, inspect, and recommend vehicle and equipment purchases as
