Your role
We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Lead to oversee our warehouse operations and outbound logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring products move efficiently from receiving through to customer delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, inventory accuracy, safety, and operational excellence.
This role combines team leadership with operational execution. You'll lead the warehouse team, coordinate domestic and international shipments, build strong relationships with logistics partners, and continuously improve warehouse and transport processes.
What you'll be doing
Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Manage and develop the warehouse team through planning, scheduling, coaching, and daily task allocation.
Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose.
Continuously optimize warehouse layout, storage locations, and workflows to improve efficiency and safety.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Oversee incoming deliveries by verifying quantities, documentation, and correct storage locations.
Inspect products, packaging, labels, and stickers to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Record, investigate, and process damaged or defective products, including returns.
Ensure all handling and storage activities comply with ADR regulations for Class 3 dangerous goods (flammable liquids).
Maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse locations.
Coordinate periodic, cycle, and annual stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and proactively communicate replenishment needs.
Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse locations.
Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and labelled accurately, using appropriate protective packaging.
Prepare export shipments, including packing lists, shipment measurements, and customer-specific documentation.
Coordinate vehicle loading and maintain photo/video documentation where required.
Verify shipment accuracy and complete transport documentation.
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies.
Plan and coordinate daily outbound shipments and delivery schedules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers including FedEx, DHL, UPS, and other carriers.
Negotiate transport rates and monitor carrier performance.
Analyse shipping costs and identify opportunities for optimisation.
Prepare transport and customs documentation for international shipments.
Resolve transport-related issues, including damaged, delayed, or lost shipments, in collaboration with Customer Service.
Maintain accurate data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related systems.
Process inventory write-offs resulting from damage, expiry, or manufacturing defects.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, automation, and logistics processes.
Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable logistics legislation.

3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including leading or supervising a warehouse team.
Experience managing relationships with parcel and freight carriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, or similar.
Working knowledge of ADR regulations, particularly Class 3 dangerous goods (flammable liquids).
Experience with international shipping documentation and customs requirements.
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in cosmetics, perfumery, luxury goods, or FMCG.
Experience with zone-based carrier pricing models.
Knowledge of dimensional weight optimization, particularly for fragile products such as glass bottles.
Forklift or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
Experience with batch/lot tracking and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory management.
