The Logistics Associate will be responsible for the coordination of logistics routing, consolidation of freight and providing system metrics. The Logistics Associate also establish and review routing and delivering material from origins into manufacturing locations as well as product to customers and dealers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities independently
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and housekeeping of materials
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP/WMS system
  • Ensure workplace safety and compliance with warehouse SOPs

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders
  • Handle daily interactions with customers and vendors regarding shipment status
  • Arrange and manage shipping bookings with carriers/forwarders, including BL instructions, cut-off times, ETD/ETA updates, and booking confirmations
  • Arrange and manage bookings with DHL/FedEx/UPS
  • Arrange import/export documentation and provide daily customer support
  • Ensure commercial and shipping documents are complete and compliant with shipping practices across the SEA region
  • Efficiently coordinate operations functions including warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution

Documentation & Data Management

  • Perform data creation and entries in ERP/WMS systems
  • Maintain reliable documentation for stock movement, deliveries, and inventory tracking
  • Ensure timely submission of required operational reports

Others

  • Interact with cross-functional departments to ensure customs clearance and on-time deliveries
  • Assist in maintaining customs record-keeping requirements, including supporting responses for routine customs inquiries
  • Ensure documents meet regulatory and customs requirements for import/export shipments
  • Source for freight rates from shipping lines/carriers when required
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain, or any related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Third-party logistics (3PL), Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ocean freight shipment documentation & processes (MSDS, DGD, B/L) and legislation (DOT CFR 49, IMDG, FMC, INCOTERMS)
  • Customer-centric with the ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Experience in inventory management and strong administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attentive and detail-orientated
  • Able to work under stress and pressure
  • Possess a valid qualified driving license
  • Possess forklift license will be an advantage
  • Ability to start immediately or with short notice will be an advantage
