It starts with YOU. & Primary Accountabilities:

  • Comply with K-C and regulatory requirements related to EHS&S
  • Support the identification, reporting, escalation and control of safety and environmental hazard to ensure risks are managed to acceptable levels.
  • Support/lead EHS&S events investigations to ensure root cause evaluations are conducted and effective corrective/preventative actions are implemented.
  • The role provides functional direction to the Logistics Team overall performance of providing best services. The incumbent provides leadership and coordination for Mill incoming delivery, Receiving, wrapping, storage, transferring/Issuance of HR, raw & packaging materials, chemicals. To support loading and dispatch documents for Export Hard Roll to customers and ECM.
  • This individual must possess a thorough working knowledge materials handling process, procedures and documents and approving vendor’s bill on the Import material freight charge without any delay on the payment process to vendors via GBS.
  • Work closely with Tissue Mill, Converting Operations and Production Planning for Co-Packing productions scheduling and preparation for efficient utilization of warehouse space of Hard Roll, Material from Tissue Mill and provide timely and accurate inventory status report to production planning.
  • Works closely with Purchasing/Planning team members on raw materials supply to meet Tissue Mill and Converting schedule and also provide information on material requirements for production and meet on time delivery of Hard Roll at customers and ECM.
  • Interact with accounts and procurement to assure proper control on documents flow Freight charges and inventory record accuracy.
  • The Logistic Supervisor conducts training for new employees. Identity and develop potential employees for career advancement. Exercise proper overtime and other expenses to spend within budgeted cost center expenses.
  • Clearly communicate with superiors, subordinates and others in a timely basis, concise, and accurate. Be positive and responsive.
  • Ensure high standards of safety and housekeeping are implemented and strictly observed to protect employees, contractors, visitors, and company's assets.
  • To manage a team to meet Logistic KPI’s and be responsible for storage quality that meet KC standards and optimize storage capacity and costs.
  • Continually upgrade subordinate staff skills by implementing both on and off the job training and education to enable them to deliver higher levels of quality and service.
  • Regular review of slow moving, obsolete and excess inventory to optimize warehouse space.
  • Regular review and prepare up to date internal controls requirements which meet K-C control requirements.
  • Develop & train team members’ capability to their full potential through coaching, training, goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development and stimulate synergistic work relationship.
  • Consistently meeting customer’s requirements by delivery raw /packaging to production and ECM on time without machine shut.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-management and motivation to continually improve logistics systems/processes, working environment, personnel and self as it relates to the overall achievement of logistics and business goals. Demonstrated willingness to continuously improve processes to meet business objectives.
  • Complete and ensure direct reports complete appropriate EHS&S orientation/training.
  • Ensure adherence of contractors to relevant K-C standards and requirements
  • Support EHS&S culture initiatives and programs i.e. Gemba Walk, LSW, PCS etc

Essential Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in business studies or Supply Chain Function with minimum 3 years Relevant experience in similar capacity in FMCG. Computer literate, ability to communicate in English and possess good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of SAP.
  • Diploma holder in any fields (preferred warehouse management) or with a minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operation.
  • Strong leadership qualities (LQs) with excellence interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
  • Preference will be individual with direct experience in tissue manufacturing with broad based operational management and experience will be an added advantage but not compulsory.
  • Experience in EHS in a manufacturing environment that involve operation of systems/processes for managing legal compliance, hazards/risks will be an added advantage.
  • English fluency in both writing and speaking.
