We are currently seeking a Warehouse/CSC Lead to join our team in Brampton, ON.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Warehouse/CSC Lead, you will be responsible for leading the team to accomplish the daily warehouse duties.

What You’ll Do:

• Run day to day CSC operation in the most efficient manner possible, leading the warehouse team in daily activities (i.e., load/unload trucks, perform and reconcile inventory, and assist the Customer Service Center as required).
• Monitor and schedule maintenance of all CSC equipment (roll-loaders, dock equipment, etc.).
• Effectively communicate with customers and support personnel to provide excellent service.
• Maintain current customer base by providing excellent customer service, including building synergy with local sales force.
• Ensure adherence to governmental (DOT, OSHA, etc.) regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety, organization, and inventory accuracy.
• Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI principles and activities in a logistics environment.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to interpret data and create useful information.
• Ability to root cause analyze and apply appropriate countermeasures to correct anomalies.
• Basic leadership skills.
• Intermediate customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to Haves:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 5 years' experience in a Logistics Supervisorial Position preferred.
