Your Opportunity:

The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Indianapolis, IN, is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our team. This position will report(s) to the Warehouse Supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations across Order Processing, Accessories, and Hoods to maintain workflow and order throughput.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders by expediting rush/specialty requests.
• Support inventory accuracy through finished goods control, stock replenishment, returns processing, and movement of completed orders to shipping.
• Train and support warehouse employees.
• Assist across operational areas as needed.
• Provide departmental leadership in the supervisor’s absence.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Strong computer skills, including Oracle and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with Customer Service and Manufacturing to support order fulfillment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, work overtime as needed, and maintain a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Reading, communication, math.
• Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above
