Warehouse Lead

Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Shift: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: $26.00 plus shift differential if applicable

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing labor distribution, overseeing workflow, and maintaining quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, excellent leadership skills, impeccable attendance and a commitment to fostering a productive and positive work environment

This position operates from Monday – Friday. Overtime work, including weekends, can be regular and is required based on business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Effectively lead a group of employees to achieve optimal production output based on required workload for the day.
• Working with supervisors to coordinate daily requirements for production scheduling.
• Will work directly with supervisors to oversee receiving, picking, or shipping departments.
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinating with other members of the management group.
• Decisions are guided by policy, procedures and business planning.
• Will receive direction from shift supervisor, operations manager, or other member of management staff.
• Provide directions for teams in group settings for department and warehouse staff.
• Directly working with associates for training and inspection/measurement of processes to ensure optimal quality and output.
• Maintain a safe work environment and exceptional housekeeping by following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain required quality and production levels.
• Required to train warehouse employees

What We Are Looking For:

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment.
• 2-3 years prior experience working in leadership role or team lead.
• Must have strong attention to detail for written documentation.
• Very strong communication skillset, written and verbal, ability to effectively communicate through email, present, etc.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• This position involves standing and/or walking for considerable lengths of time. Bending to floor level is required. Heavy lifting (up to 50Lbs) is required.
• Reading, writing, and understanding of English language
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor work environment
• Strong and energetic leadership presence, with ability to effectively coach a team to succeed
• Must be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards.
• You absolutely must be able to work well in a team environment and will also have opportunity as an individual contributor.
• Impeccable attendance is required.
• Respectful and team contributor (cleanliness and communication).
• Be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed during overtime requirements.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$26.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
