Receive inbound freight and verify shipments for accuracy and condition
Unload and load trailers safely using forklifts or other approved equipment
Transfer pallets to designated warehouse locations using forklift
Process, scan, and sort packages using handheld RF scanners
Organize and stage materials for outbound distribution
Pull and prepare orders utilizing system-generated pick lists and validate for accuracy
Maintain accurate receipt and put-away documentation, identifying damages, shortages, or overages
Submit completed and verified paperwork to appropriate departments
Assist drivers with check-in procedures and help locate staged materials
Lift, pull, and move inventory up to 50 lbs individually (70 lbs team lift)
Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of warehouse
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Delegate tasks and provide direction to warehouse associates during shift
Train and mentor team members on warehouse processes, safety standards, and equipment use
Monitor workflow to ensure productivity and accuracy goals are met
Support cross-functional communication between drivers, warehouse associates, and management
Exercise independent judgment in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (single, double, clamp, and other specialized attachments preferred)
At least 2 years of forklift operating experience required
Forklift certification required
Proficient in use of RF scanners and warehouse management systems
Strong computer skills and ability to complete operational documentation accurately
