Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team! This hands-on position combines RF scanning, inventory, order verification, material consolidation, and cycle counting to help keep warehouse and production operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for accurately scanning and matching parts, verifying quantities and work orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials get to the right place at the right time. Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and move automotive parts and materials to the correct locations.
• Match customer tags, parts, quantities, and shipping information to the appropriate work orders and manifests.
• Consolidate parts from multiple totes or locations to improve organization and maximize storage space.
• Verify that parts and packaging materials match the correct work orders before they are sent to production.
• Perform cycle counts using hand counts, calculators, scanners, and scales to maintain accurate inventory.
• Investigate and locate inventory in current and previous storage locations.
• Identify damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming parts and follow proper procedures for handling them.
• Create receiving tags and update inventory information when needed.
• Assist production and picking teams with locating and fulfilling orders.
• Work closely with drivers and other warehouse team members to ensure materials are delivered to the correct production areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or issues to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with cycle counting preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
• Ability to accurately count parts and perform basic math.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse during the shift.
• Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to read and understand work orders, part numbers, and shipping documentation in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors.
