Job Description

Role Impact & Purpose

At RHI Magnesita, this role sits at the center of our supply chain operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and seamless warehouse execution across our external network. We strongly value internal talent for this opportunity—someone who already understands our business, materials, systems, and ways of working—because that knowledge enables immediate impact and faster decision-making in a highly operational environment.

As a Warehousing & Inventory Specialist, you will leverage your understanding of our processes and partnerships to drive efficiency across resale receiving, repackaging, and recycling workflows. Your familiarity with our systems (including SAP/S4 and TANGRO), materials, and cross-functional dynamics will help strengthen inventory accuracy, reduce discrepancies, and improve coordination with 3PL partners and commercial teams.

This role is ideal for an internal candidate looking to broaden their exposure across supply chain and commercial operations, take on greater ownership, and play a key role in connecting warehouse execution with broader business performance. Your contributions will directly impact cost control, service levels, and operational excellence across the region.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and manage resale receiving activities and associated TANGRO workflows across third-party warehouses
  • Partner with Commercial Management and 3PL providers to ensure accurate inventory control, timely deliveries, and resolution of discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, supporting daily operations as well as mid-year and annual physical counts
  • Drive inventory accuracy through adjustments, audits, and process improvements
  • Coordinate repackaging, recycling, and disposal activities to minimize waste and avoid excess storage costs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot TANGRO invoicing to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Support S4/HANA and digital initiatives, including onboarding and training for warehouse partners

Why This Role is Compelling

  • High Visibility & Impact: Directly influence inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost control across the region
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, commercial teams, and external logistics partners globally
  • Continuous Improvement Focus: Opportunity to drive process enhancements and implement best practices in warehousing and inventory management
  • Global Reach: Engage with international teams and travel (~30%) to support operations and build relationships across the network
  • Autonomy & Ownership: Make real-time decisions that impact business performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What Success Looks Like

  • Strong inventory accuracy and clean audit results across warehouse operations
  • Reduced discrepancies, scrap levels, and storage costs
  • Effective collaboration with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders
  • Streamlined processes supported by SAP S/4HANA and digital tools
  • Proactive problem-solving and continuous process improvement

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or inventory management
  • Strong SAP / S4 HANA proficiency and advanced MS Office skills
  • Hands-on, results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions in operational environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and partners
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus

Work Environment

  • Remote role based in the United States (York, PA area preferred)
  • Approximately 30% travel (domestic and international)
