The TEMEA Supply Chain department brings together Inventory Planning, EDC Warehousing, Transport, and EMEA Customer Service, creating a cross-functional, end-to-end partnership that supports the efficient delivery of healthcare products across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

At Terumo EDC in Genk, we play a vital role in ensuring that life-saving medical products reach healthcare professionals and patients safely, accurately, and on time.

As a Warehouse & Inventory Officer, you are responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse control processes within the European Distribution Center.

You ensure that products are shipped with the correct Instructions for Use (IFU) and labels, monitor stock integrity, and contribute to efficient inventory management through cycle counting, stock analysis, and issue resolution. Your work directly supports operational excellence and helps guarantee the reliable delivery of healthcare products to customers across the EMEA region.

This is a temporary assignment of approximately 2 to 3 months.

Job Responsibilities

IFU & Label Management

  • Coordinate and oversee the management of Instructions for Use (IFU) and product labels.
  • Follow up on related shipments and transactions in SAP.
  • Prepare, print, and process required documentation and labels.
  • Ensure products are accompanied by the correct language-specific IFUs and labels before shipment.
  • Act as the key point of contact for IFU and labeling-related topics.
  • Participate in operational meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Collect and maintain data for KPI reporting.

Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

  • Ensure daily inventory accuracy and correct stock administration within SAP EWM.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and inventory issues.
  • Perform stock analyses and monitor inventory movements throughout the warehouse.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity and support inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Communicate product status and stock-related information to internal stakeholders.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze inventory and operational KPIs and provide regular reports.
  • Maintain inventory logs and monitor warehouse filling rates.
  • Support audits by preparing inventory reports and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports and supply chain analyses.

Cycle Count Management

  • Coordinate and support the annual warehouse cycle counting process.
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and compliant with operational standards.

Product & Inventory Support

  • Support the introduction of new products and inventory setup activities.
  • Assist with stock intake and inventory-related administration.
  • Provide accurate stock information to internal departments and stakeholders.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Comply with all quality, safety, security, and warehouse procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant working environment.
  • Actively contribute to a strong health and safety culture within the warehouse.

Profile Description

  • A2 degree or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably with a focus on inventory control.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP EWM is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of logistics processes such as inbound, outbound, picking, packing, scanning, loading, staging, and cycle counting.
  • Fluent in Dutch and a good working knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Accurate, analytical, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment.
