STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Intern to join our dynamic Warehouseteam. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology, develop valuable skills.

The Intern will assist in implementing Lean principles, supporting ISO and safety certifications, and enhancing warehouse security and operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain practical experience in warehouse operations, process optimization, and compliance management.

This is a 12-month internship with the possibility of extension, offering you a unique opportunity to grow and contribute in a world-class environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the deployment and promotion of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
  • Support process analysis and improvement activities, including value stream mapping, 5S, and Kaizen events.
  • Help collect and analyze operational data to monitor KPIs and track progress on improvement projects.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops aimed at building Lean culture and operational awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Lean initiatives and operational procedures.
  • Support health and safety adherence by assisting with safety audits, risk assessments, and promoting safety protocols.
  • Aid in enhancing warehouse security by supporting access control, surveillance, and security policy enforcement.
  • Contribute to logistics equipment maintenance and warehouse layout optimization efforts.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate shall:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in Lean methodologies and process improvement.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards is a plus.
