Warehouse II / Sit-down Forklift

The best fit is someone who has general warehouse shipping / receiving experience with Forklift Operation. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. They use this staffing model to convert workers to full-time employees. This is a great way to get hired fast!

PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
POSITION: Contract
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F) / Some Saturdays
LOCATION: Peachtree Corners, GA 30071

DUTIES:

• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Drug Test
• Background Check
• Sitdown Gas Forklift - Required
• Certified Forklift - Preferred
• RF Scanner
• HVAC experience would be great but not required.

ABILITIES:

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
