The Warehouse Technician works in the Warehouse Department to ensure proper shipments, incoming and outgoing inventory, and organization of the entire area. The warehouse team also assists with loading and unloading the packaging line and ensuring the upkeep of raw materials and finished goods.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
Organizes finished goods for outbound shipments to distributors.
Safely operates forklift to complete a variety of warehouse tasks.
Receives and stores incoming shipments in accordance with fifo and/or allergen requirements.
Load outbound trucks with correct product according to fifo requirements.
Drives a box truck and make deliveries between our multiple locations
Organizes, cleans, and maintains warehouse in accordance with 5S standards.
Performs inventory of finished goods and cycle counts as needed.
Completing computer-based work, as required to fulfill job or department duties.
Physical Demands:
The work environment is that of a brewery, including regular exposure to hazardous machinery, materials, and chemicals, as well as wet floors and equipment, high voltage, hot water, elevated temperatures, and steam.
Safely handle heavy objects using proper body mechanics, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 60 lbs. and routinely maneuvering objects weighing up to 165 lbs.
Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Remain on your feet for extended periods while standing and/or walking on surfaces that may be wet or slippery.
Frequently sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
Frequently talk, hear, and smell.
Frequently reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Stand on hard surfaces for up to 8 hours per day.
Work first or second shift.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred experience of one-year operating a forklift
Preferred experience of one-year working in a warehouse
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
