Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Rochester, NY 14623Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $16.09 - $19.31 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayPOSITION VISION                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The part-time warehouse person is responsible for assisting a full-time warehouse person in filling of the pick area. The warehouse person is responsible for helping to keep the warehouse clean, neat, and orderly at all times to include emptying trash, baling of plastic and cardboard. PT warehouse person may build orders for bulk delivery and assist in loading and unloading draft trailers.
QUANTIFIABLE POSITION OBJECTIVES
1. Reports to work on time wearing a clean company issued safety uniform.
2. Assist in loading empty bottles and kegs onto supplier trucks.
3. Assist in filling of the pick room in a neat and orderly manner.
4. Assist with repacking/breakage.
5. Helps load bulk trucks with products. Products may be lifted using arms and hands to stack products on pallets for loading onto trucks. Products weight approximately:
- 1 case of cans = 21 pounds
- 1 case of 12 oz bottles = 38 pounds
- 1 case of 40 oz or 24 oz NR bottles = 48 pounds
- 1 1/6 bbl = 58 pounds
- 1 ¼ bbl = 88 pounds
- 1 ½ bbl. = 175 pounds
6. Maintains a safe working environment by straightening up pallets and keeping floors swept and scrubbed.
7. Must be willing and able with proper training to perform back up functions for other warehouse and delivery helpers.
8. Fills orders for customers at retail counter.
9. Empties trash containers
10. Assists with compacting cardboard or plastic in baler.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Minimum:    High school diploma or GED                                                                                                                                      Must be able to read, write and comprehend English and have basic math skills

Preferred:    Must be certified in forklift, walkie rider, electric pallet jack and floor scrubber.
Experience:

Preferred:    Warehouse and forklift experience in material handling or beverage distribution.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and stack, 1 case of can (21 pounds), 1 case of 12oz bottles (38 pounds), 1 case of 40 oz bottles (48 pounds) and½ barrels weighting 175 pounds 3 feet off the ground; stand; use hands to finger, handle and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is frequently required climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
All work is performed inside the confines of the warehouse except for local deliveries.  Exposure to broken glass and diesel fumes.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Preferred a valid, clean NYS driver’s license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier. This person will be required make deliveries and fill in for the driver assistant/helper as needed.
