Position Title:

Warehouse & Grounds Maintenance Personnel

Salary: $25.00

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and safety-focused Warehouse & Grounds Maintenance Personnel team member to support the upkeep, maintenance, and operational efficiency of warehouse facilities and company grounds. The ideal candidate will possess experience in forklift operation, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance, while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and facility excellence

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while assisting with warehouse support, facility repairs, and grounds maintenance to ensure daily operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to warehouse facilities, buildings, and surrounding grounds.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently for moving materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on facilities and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, grounds, storage locations, and common workspaces.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, repairs, and general building maintenance as needed.
• Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and warehouse operational support.
• Monitor and report facility concerns, maintenance needs, equipment issues, and safety hazards.
• Ensure grounds are maintained, including cleanup, organization, and upkeep of outdoor work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and operational standards
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers and management to support departmental and organizational goals.
• Respond to Storm Deployment and assisting in Emergency Restoration

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in forklift operation required; certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems required.
• Previous experience in warehouse maintenance, facility maintenance, grounds maintenance, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance-related issues and perform minor repairs.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

This position involves working in a warehouse, shop, and outdoor environment, supporting daily operations through maintenance, material handling, and grounds upkeep while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
