Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Position: Material Handler/Order Picker

Duties This role is responsible for supporting our shipping and receiving department by picking orders (doors, hardware, door-related materials), unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, performing inventory counts and handling doors and door related materials.

Shift: Evenings: 4 days per week (days to be determined), 1:30pm to 12am

Compensation (depending on experience): $20.00/hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift premium

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of Door industry experience would be an asset
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull and maneuver items up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities
• Good communication skills — verbal and written, for reporting issues or working with team members
