Job Description

Warehouse Forklift Operator

Location: Fort Worth Alliance, TX

Department: Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsible for managing physical goods flow, involving receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials using equipment like Electrical and manual pallet jacks, Forklifts and powerlifts while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized warehouse environment, requiring physical stamina (lifting up to 50 lbs.), attention to detail, and basic computer skills for scanning/data entry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport materials manually or using equipment like pallet jacks.
  • Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks; maintain accurate records of stock levels and movement in company systems.
  • Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and condition, reporting any damages or discrepancies immediately.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and label products according to company standards to prepare them for shipment or internal production use.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards) and conduct regular safety inspections of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials handling.

Skills

  • Recent minimum of 2 years forklift experience, Ability to operate pallet jacks and basic computer literacy (often including scanners or inventory management systems).
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Working Conditions:

  • Predominantly a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to moderate noise and machinery.
  • Often involves full-time hours, with some roles requiring flexibility for overtime, weekends, or specific shifts (e.g., first or second shift).
