As part of our warehouse and delivery teams, you will use hand trucks and forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles, drive vehicles to delivery locations, and support overall warehouse operations. This role requires driver experience, HVAC product knowledge, and prior warehouse experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas.
• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive safely.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Always remain professional and courteous.
• Forklift certification and/or experience
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

Education and Experience:

• Driver experience, HVAC product knowledge, and warehouse experience required.

• Must satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of a forklift in an on-site test.

• Experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment.

• Forklift certification and/or previous forklift operating experience.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR report.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items throughout a normal shift.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 40-pound wooden skid or pallet.
