Warehouse & Dispatch Executive

Join Alfa Laval Service Team as a Warehouse & Dispatch Executive

The Warehouse & Dispatch Executive is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information across the supply chain, supporting all service centers, and managing warehouse operations at both Thane and Talegaon locations. This role involves coordination with suppliers, cost management, inventory control, and compliance with internal processes to optimize efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Data & Coordination

  • Connect items to all service centers to ensure availability and traceability.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier connections for timely procurement.
  • Manage costing processes and conduct weekly cost reviews.
  • Update and review ABC classification of inventory items.
  • Update lead times as per PDL.
  • Prepare and review KITs for service centers

Material Availability & Procurement

  • Place orders on PDL and ensure timely order confirmation.
  • Review forecasting data and update it quarterly based on parts consumption trends.
  • Conduct internal audits as per classification (quarterly/half-yearly).
  • Follow up on material status with PDL to ensure timely delivery.

Warehouse Operations (Thane & Talegaon)

  • Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for the Thane warehouse.
  • Generate delivery notes, invoices, and E Way Bills for shipments.
  • Arrange transportation in coordination with the Indirect Purchase team.
  • Oversee warehouse management and inventory control for both Thane and Talegaon locations.
  • Handle all Talegaon warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Travel to and support other service centers located at Vizag, Kundli, and Talegaon warehouse.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Knowledge of inventory classification methods (e.g., ABC analysis).
  • Understanding of logistics documentation (GRN, delivery notes, invoices, E Way Bills
