Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver plumbing materials, pipe, appliances, fixtures, and other products to customers’ homes, businesses, and jobsites. This is a physically active position requiring regular loading, unloading, and handling of large, heavy, and bulky products in a variety of delivery environments and weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has previous commercial delivery experience, is comfortable navigating residential and job site deliveries, and takes pride in providing safe, dependable, and professional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Hubbard Supplyhouse professionally when interacting with customers
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, warehouse employees, and other team members
• Follow customer delivery instructions and communicate concerns when necessary
• Report product damage, shortages, delivery discrepancies, or other issues promptly
• Help resolve delivery-related concerns while providing responsive customer service
• Safely operate a 26 ft. box truck to deliver products to job sites, residential, and commercial customers
• Load, unload, and deliver materials, including frequent heavy lifting
• Verify orders for accuracy and collect required signatures at delivery
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop
• Complete deliveries independently as a solo driver
• Assist with staging, loading, and securing products for transport
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized truck
• Follow delivery routes and communicate delays or issues as needed
• Report damages, shortages, or delivery concerns promptly
• Support warehouse operations as needed when deliveries are complete

Requirements

Required:

• Active DOT Medical Card
• Must be 21 yrs of age or older
• Minimum of 3 years licensed
• Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to complete an online defensive driving course and test
• Ability to pass a driver evaluation road test administered by trainer
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial delivery vehicle
• Ability and willingness to regularly perform physically demanding delivery work
• Ability to safely load, unload, carry, and move heavy, bulky, and awkward products
• Willingness to make deliveries to homes, businesses, warehouses, and active jobsites in varying weather and working conditions
• Ability to accurately use GPS and navigation systems
• Ability to assist with general warehouse duties when delivery responsibilities are complete and time permits
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Prior delivery experience (large items such as plumbing, kitchen/bath items, appliances and irrigation materials)
• 2+ years of experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles
• Experience using handheld scanners, GPS, or routing systems
• Experience making residential, commercial, and construction-jobsite deliveries
• Customer service experience in delivery or field service environments
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
