WAREHOUSE CREW MEMBERFULL TIME, NON EXEMPT HOURLY POSITIONThe warehouse crew member is responsible for daily warehouse functions. This includes picking, loading, and receiving orders while maintaining proper cold chain and rotation procedures. This position reports to the Floor Supervisor. Essential Functions: · Must exemplify Blake’s Lotaburgers Core Values of Kind, Team, Passion, Process in all responsibilities and interactions.· Prepare orders, process requests, and supply orders by pulling products accurately· Receive incoming vendor/transfer loads, record quantities correctly, and turn in vendor paperwork with signatures and dates· Load outbound tractor trailers efficiently and correctly· Build pallets for the next day’s routes, ensuring they are double checked for accuracy before being wrapped and put away· Rotate product correctly after receiving new inbound deliveries· Ensure deliveries are put away promptly to maintain proper food temperatures· Maintain freezer and cooler organization to help with weekly inventory counts· Assist with counting inventory if needed· Maintain safe and clean work environment· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):
· Must be neat and clean in appearance.· Able to obtain Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification.· Knowledge in foodservice and food safety regulations.· Knowledge in warehouse functions.· Strong problem solving and communication skills.· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and MVR check.
Essential Physical/Emotional Requirements:· Must possess a polite and friendly attitude.· Ability move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted up and down a ramp withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment· The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus· Must be able to talk and hear· The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance, frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
