Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Counter Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for doing the following: assist with area housekeeping and safety efforts; receive, store, inventory and issue parts and consumables from stock for production and maintenance personnel; expedite the plant delivery service; work with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions. This position requires working rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and scheduled/unscheduled overtime.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
