We’re launching our largest Supply Chain site in Redbank, Queensland - A major investment in scale, innovation, and the future of our retail network. This is a rare opportunity to join and help bring a large‑scale operation to life from the ground up.

Officeworks is launching a brand-new, cutting-edge, 55k sqm omnichannel Distribution Centre in Redbank.

This future-focused flagship facility is designed with both people and planet in mind, featuring incredible sustainability initiatives and modern amenities designed to support team health and wellbeing. 

As the Department Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll combine hands-on warehouse coordination with process leadership, supporting daily operations while providing training, guidance, coaching, and technical expertise to your team.

If you are a motivated and organised Warehouse Coordinator who wants to play a key role in building a Greenfield site, supporting the onboarding and training of new team members, and providing operational guidance, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

This role combines warehouse duties with technical development.

You will be responsible for coordinating the below DC tasks relevant to your dedicated department:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading.
  • Process inventory and maintain stock accuracy within warehouse systems.
  • Support picking and packing operations within automated fulfilment areas.
  • Coordinate putaway, replenishment, dispatch, sortation, and pallet wrapping activities.
  • Monitor workflow and resolve operational issues to maintain service levels.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg when required.
  • Support general warehouse operations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.

About you

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience training, onboarding and coaching team members on operational processes and safe work practices
  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and support across the DC operations departments
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment
  • Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
