As a Storeman, you’ll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting our team. Your main duties will include:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Perform regular stock counts and audits.
• Update inventory management systems with incoming and outgoing stock.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary to avoid shortages.

Receiving Goods:

• Accept deliveries and verify the quality and quantity of goods received.
• Inspect incoming goods for damages or discrepancies.
• Update inventory records and inform relevant departments of the receipt of goods.

Storing Goods:

• Properly store goods in designated locations.
• Ensure that goods are stored safely and securely to prevent damage.

• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.

Dispatching Goods:

• Prepare goods for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Coordinate with transport companies for the timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Warehouse Maintenance:

• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Ensure that equipment and storage facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
• What We Expect from You

What we are looking for?

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or trade supply (preferred)
• Strong organisational, time management abilities. and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork
• Physical fitness for handling heavy materials.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Current Driver's Licence for delivery of parts on site on occasion.
