As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will Monitor SAP inventory reports and perform MRP process for ordering and purchasing replacement stock items to adequately maintain the optimum quantity levels for materials and supplies inventory. You will Ensure consistent and timely coordination between vendors and DGD III facility personnel to ensure accurate pricing, while validating feasibility of lead times and delivery dates. You will work closely with Contracts & Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering personnel in order to preserve, maintain and protect Valero’s assets in the most effective manner possible.

  • Generates SAP MRP reports, purchases replacement stock, monitors inventory levels and adjusts max/min accordingly with manager's approval.
  • Generates, updates purchase orders for storehouse stock, and interfaces with suppliers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of pricing and lead times.
  • Recognizes when computer feedback does not satisfy warehouse system requirements and takes action accordingly.
  • Supports and assists, as required, Purchasing, Accounting, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering in SAP issues affecting equipment bills of materials, requisition processes, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Resolves invoice and receiving discrepancies to assure proper workflow between warehouse, purchasing and accounts payable.
  • Sets up and maintains material masters.
  • Ships all non-hazardous and hazardous materials out of warehouse.
  • Receives feedback on services provided from suppliers and field customers.
  • Develops/Implements action plans to correct discrepancies.
  • Inputs/analyzes data associated with cycle/physical counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensures TA inventory material as required.
  • Provides support and assists Purchasing with the implementation of consignment agreements.
  • Maintains all aspects of M&S inventory including issues, receipts, adjustments, returns, physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and procedures as established by the company.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in the following area(s): Warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, and/or refinery operations/maintenance required.
    • Experience in computer-based purchasing and inventory required.
  • Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at Diamond Renewable Operations, required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher level degree - preferred.
  • Experience in a refinery environment preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Accounting experience preferred.
