Job Description

A crew 7am -7pm

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the overall administrative support within CANPACK’s Warehouse. This includes completion of daily production/shipping paperwork, data entry, and inventory. The Warehouse Coordinator is the point of contact for drivers regarding the loading and unloading procedure ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

  • Supervise and ensure warehouse documentation: inbound, outbound, and other orders are recorded and held in the SAP system and other programs.
  • Ensure proper paperwork archiving in line with agreed standards providing easy and fast access.
  • Ensure data compatibility of outbound shipment orders documentation in the SAP system and other programs with physical material flow.
  • Brief drivers with the loading or unloading procedure and make sure they comply and follow the given guidelines. Report failures.
  • Organize accurate goods onto trucks for transportation and unload incoming deliveries conducting physical inspection when applicable in accordance with the quality and work security regulations, internal procedures, and system information (SAP).
  • Conduct periodic and annual stock checks in line with the accepted procedure keeping correct physical inventory records with SAP and other systems. Investigate and resolve mistakes.
  • Maintain familiarity with and understanding of stock levels within the warehouse daily and check the range of duties assigned for the current day.
  • Provide team with necessary information and tools to effectively perform duties.
  • Provide backup to warehouse receiving functions, including loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • 2-4 years warehouse / distribution experience
  • Must have a high level of computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to provide accurate entry of data and ability to handle administrative tasks as assigned
  • Ability to plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization.
