Job Description
Job Location: Columbus Office - Columbus, OH 43123The Warehouse Coordinator will primarily be pulling stock, packing it into boxes and onto pallets to be shipped to the customer. Receiving duties shall include, unloading material, equipment and items, and placing in the appropriate areas of the warehouse. When shipping, pack and weigh the package and attach labeling and/or postage when required. Checking shipping and receiving lists to ensure accuracy. Verify, prepare, pack, and label equipment and materials received for projects. Control inventory by locating missing material, stocking material, restocking material, checking for damaged material, and performing inventory checks regularly. Keep company records, print orders, and update shipping and receiving records according to warehouse activity. Ensure warehouse safety and cleanliness by using appropriate protective safety equipment, operating equipment and any machinery safely, and performing any necessary cleaning tasks. Must have the ability to learn job specifics, such as warehouse layout and the different types of inventory.
QualificationsEssential Functions
- Receive instructions/schedules from supervisor or other management.
- Stage and position items that will be used on projects sites.
- Unload trucks and receive deliveries.
- Comply with safety rules including the operation of equipment such as a pallet truck,
forklift truck, strapping tools, or misc. hand tools.
- May operate company vehicles or trucks occasionally when needed.
- Duties will include processing material, equipment, and items to be returned.
- Assure that IPS safety protocols are being followed.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Must fluently speak, read, and write in English
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers

- Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend, climb ladders or equipment, negotiate truck beds, manually operate pneumatic or manual strapping equipment, communicate by intercom, radio, telephone, or cell phone. Maximum unassisted lift = 75 lbs.
- Occasional travel to jobsites for parts deliveries
- This job operates in a clerical and warehouse, setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, pallet lifts, and other warehouse equipment.
