The Company
Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant.
The Culture
At Ingles Markets, we know we are so much more than a grocery store. We are made up of associates, customers, and vendors. Everyone is as unique and different as the next, but our differences are what makes us better, stronger, and unified.
The Position
Our Warehouse Coordinators assist managers with the overall operations of the Grocery Department. They are responsible for a variety of operations, including delegating tasks, ensuring efficiency and safety, managing attendance and time-off requests, and conducting associate counseling and performance evaluations. Coordinators often lead our shift meetings, ensuring that all updates and feedback obtained during meetings are communicated to their teams.
