Warehouse Clerk

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure customer orders are accurately fulfilled and delivered on time. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and providing excellent service to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Verify product quantities, item numbers, and shipping information for accuracy.
• Create and process shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
• Load and unload freight while ensuring safe handling of products.
• Track and monitor outgoing shipments and update records in the warehouse management system.
• Inspect packaged orders to ensure quality and compliance with shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock organization.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklifts (if certified).
• Handle shipping issues, damaged goods, and returned products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems or shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: Wenesday through Sundays 7am-3:30pm
