What You’ll Be Doing:

• Process orders, prepare reports, labels, and manifests
• Track Shipments via Port Websites: Use port systems to track containers and ensure compliance with port regulations.
• Handle Shipping Paperwork: Prepare and process essential documents, including bills of lading and customs forms, with precision.
• Use Excel for Reporting: Leverage Excel to create and manage detailed reports on inventory, shipments, and schedules.
• Collaborate & Resolve: Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to resolve any issues, ensuring seamless operations.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure work environment.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Must-Have: Proven expertise in container drayage and knowledge of port operations—this is a knockout requirement!
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus).
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Comfortable working on a warehouse floor setting.
• Excel proficiency: you should be comfortable generating reports, analyzing data, and managing spreadsheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
