Job Description

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic team providing support to our National Laboratory customer in Albuquerque, NM. The organization provides IT Infrastructure for enterprise services. They provide modern telecommunications systems for data, telephone, wireless, COMSEC, LAN/WAN, RF Microwave, and encryption capabilities with emphasis on securing and protecting the client’s information, standardization, and reducing heterogeneity.

Responsibilities

  • Counting and reporting the available products and supplies in stock, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ordering and restocking new inventory from suppliers and vendors, according to need.
  • Stage equipment for project installs.
  • Compile and maintain records of consumables by type, quantity, and value of material.
  • Perform yearly wall to wall inventory of all IT equipment.
  • Issue IT equipment to field technicians and to engineers for project installations.
  • Shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with 1 year job related experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.

Required Skills:

  • Experience managing and updating the stock inventory, using warehouse software database.
  • Experience recording and inspecting incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper labeling and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites onsite.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors and indoors at heights, and in confined spaces.

Desired Skills:

  • Active DOE or DOD clearance.
  • Forklift certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships both internal and external to the department.
  • Strong clerical skills
