We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Clerk to support receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely order fulfilment and safe warehouse practices. The Warehouse Clerk works closely with Procurement, Customer Experience and Shipping teams to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
1–3 years' experience in warehouse, fulfilment or logistics roles preferred.
Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or order management systems (WMS/ERP).
Strong attention to detail and an organised, process-driven approach.
Ability to work on-site, stand and lift regularly (up to 25 kg) in accordance with safe manual handling practices.
Good communication skills and ability to follow written procedures and SOPs.
Receiving & Inspection: Unload deliveries, verify shipment contents against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and accurately record received quantities.
Inventory Management: Put away stock, maintain organised locations, perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to Warehouse leadership.
Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack and stage orders according to packing lists and company standards, ensuring accuracy and appropriate packaging.
Shipping & Documentation: Prepare shipping labels, complete packing slips, coordinate couriers and update tracking information in the system.
Quality & Compliance: Follow handling, storage and labelling procedures; ensure products meet quality standards before dispatch.
Equipment & Housekeeping: Operate pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment safely, and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Cross-Functional Support: Communicate with Procurement, Customer Experience and Accounting to resolve receiving or order issues and support ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements to increase accuracy and throughput.
Experience with handheld scanners and basic WMS or inventory tools preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic numeracy and comfortable using spreadsheet software for simple reporting.
Forklift licence is a plus but not required (training may be provided).
$20 an hour
