What you will do
Our Global Supply Chain Excellence team optimizes our Supply Chain between our manufacturing sites across the world. As part of this team the Warehouse Business System Specialist will develop and own specific areas of the warehouse system business process and the warehouse system solutions. You will own warehouse system specifications, own and drive business tasks during planning, requirements gathering, design, build, test, migration, training and deployment of warehouse systems and lead warehouse system changes from initiation to deployment. To be successful in this global focused role, you will need technical expertise, influencing skills and the ability to drive change.

Ensure uninterrupted production and supply, driven by Warehouse business systems.
Lead business requirement gathering as input for the warehouse system business process blueprints and solution templates.
Own defined warehouse system validation tasks, documents and assessments.
Drive and govern warehouse system implementation tasks e.g., test strategy, scripts & sets, test execution, review and approval, configuration and migration.
Own, develop and document warehouse system training content and documentation, AVs, LAs, and TRNQs.
Define, document and maintain warehousing system user roles, approve user role assignments and perform periodic audits.
Maintain strong ties with Sites, Manufacturing, GSC and DTI, collaborating to achieve best results for Amgen.
Independently identify opportunities and assess impact of technologies, best practices, trends and events for Amgen’s business processes and systems.
Showcase continuous improvement mindset to identify and deliver savings and improvements.
Drive results to the finish line and strive for best-in-class warehousing supporting Manufacturing and Supply.
Actively contribute to network collaboration, sharing and development.

What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The warehouse system expert we seek is a strong collaborator with these qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Logistics or logistic knowledge by experience.
5+ years’ experience in preferably pharma warehousing/distribution environment.
In-depth SAP and WMS design and implementation experience.
Process mindset: cross-functional process understanding, insight and visualization.
Distil, negotiate and communicate business requirements per strategic direction.
Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams.
Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence, continuously improve.
Problem solver with high sense of responsibility and result focused with a proven ability to drive and deliver.
Experience influencing change in international matrix environment.
Fluent in English in verbal and written communication.
Technical writing skills.
