Descripción del empleo

The warehouse auxiliary ensures the proper handling, safeguarding, and control of materials, as well as accurate inventory management. This role is responsible for the reception, verification, and distribution of materials required for plant operations, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting the Quality Management System.

The warehouse auxiliary must proactively exhibit and motivate others in WireCo Business System (WBS) behaviors:

Functions

• Reception, verification, and classification of waste (scrap, wire scrap, metal scrap) from the plant.
• Use of forklift for material handling.
• Material cutting using oxy-fuel equipment.
• Waste packaging.
• Loading reels with scrap using forklift.
• Loading wire scrap into the assigned container.
• Reporting failures of utility equipment.
• Control and safekeeping of supplies.
• All activities mentioned are illustrative but not limited.

Responsibilities

• Signing wire scrap weight tickets on loading days.
• Ensuring weight tickets are correctly signed.
• Organization and cleaning of the work area.
• Compliance with policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Proper use of PPE.
• Full use of PPE.

Requisitos

Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical degree
• Warehouse background
