Job Description

A Warehouse Attendant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities by managing the flow of materials and maintaining order within the workspace at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. Their responsibilities typically involve receiving and handling goods, preparing items for distribution, and assisting with the movement and organization of inventory. They help maintain accurate records, support order fulfillment, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. By carrying out these tasks, Warehouse Attendants ensure that operations run seamlessly, inventory is properly maintained, and products are readily available when needed.

1. Inventory Management & Control

  • Monitor and assess stock levels on a regular basis to ensure adequate supply and avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct stock takes and participate in scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Audit incoming materials to verify paperwork, quantities, and quality against purchase orders.
  • Prepare and update inventory reports to support management decision-making and operational planning.

2. Warehouse Operations & Maintenance

  • Assist with unloading containers, sorting items, and receiving deliveries in an organized and timely manner.
  • Stock shelves and designated storage areas, ensuring items are stored safely and logically for easy access.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the warehouse environment to support efficient workflows.
  • Support daily operational tasks that contribute to smooth warehouse functionality.

3. Procurement & Coordination

  • Provide assistance with purchasing activities by identifying supply needs and sourcing required items.
  • Collaborate with internal staff, management, and external vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Help coordinate the flow of information and materials to support uninterrupted operations.

4. Compliance & Support

  • Follow and uphold environmental, safety, and company-specific policies and procedures at all times.
  • Participate in workplace practices that ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties or special tasks assigned by management to support broader organizational goals.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in a hospitality or resort environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Microsoft Office proficient,
  • Inventory software knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Warehouse, purchasing, basic accounting and inventory control skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to internal stakeholders.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with employees and guests.
  • Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, managers, and co-workers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be physically fit.
