Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate is an entry-level role focused on the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Associates are responsible for picking and packing orders, ensuring shipments are processed and dispatched correctly, and completing assigned projects throughout the day. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to keeping the warehouse organized and efficient.

  • Pack orders according to client-specific requirements and packaging standards
  • Verify item counts, SKUs, and order accuracy before sealing and labeling
  • Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to each package

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Ensure all assigned orders are fulfilled and staged for carrier pickup within daily deadlines
  • Confirm shipments are scanned and tracked in the warehouse management system (ShipHero)
  • Flag and escalate any order discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing inventory to a Team Lead
  • Maintain productivity standards and meet daily order targets

Project Work

  • Complete assigned warehouse projects throughout the shift as directed by Team Leads or management
  • Projects may include inventory counts, bin organization, relabeling, restocking, or special client tasks
  • Communicate project status and completion updates to your Team Lead
  • Approach project work with the same urgency and accuracy as order fulfillment

Warehouse Cleanliness & Organization

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Remove packing materials, debris, and empty cartons from pick and pack stations throughout the shift
  • Ensure aisles, staging areas, and docks remain clear and hazard-free
  • Participate in end-of-shift cleanup and warehouse organization tasks

General Operations

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures, policies, and guidelines
  • Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners) safely and correctly
  • Work at a steady, efficient pace to support daily throughput goals
  • Communicate openly with Team Leads regarding workload, concerns, or questions
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and support a positive, team-first environment
  • Take ownership of issues as they arise and proactively help resolve daily workflow problems
  • Accept cross-training across tasks and adapt readily to changing assignments

Requirements

Required

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Basic reading and counting skills required

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or RF scanning
  • Experience in a pick-and-pack or e-commerce fulfillment environment

  • Clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment
  • Supportive team culture with clear expectations and leadership

Opportunity to grow into Team Lead and supervisory roles
