General:
**This position will be driving a forklift, unloading trucks, checking in freight and putting it up. This position requires you to be on your feet and heavy lifting**
This position is responsible for picking parts and materials and delivering them to the proper location. This position will also unload deliveries of parts and materials and place them in the appropriate area. This position will also be operating a fork truck, In & out of a truck and heavy lifting.
Tools and Equipment:
Hand and powered truck, computer keyboard and terminal, shrink-gun, heat resistant equipment, and protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields.
Duties:
1. Based on daily requirements, pick parts from various locations and stage for delivery
2. Transport to assigned areas
3. Unload shipments of raw material/finished goods. Verify serial numbers and/or quantity and place them in proper locations
4. Process and update various inventory control paperwork and computer reports
5. Use F.I.F.O. (First in, first out)
6. Complete all assigned or team duties in a timely manner
7. Keep work area clean, safe, and hazard free
8. Other duties as assigned
