Inbound Team Lead Shift 1

Position Title: Warehouse Associate Lead - Inbound Shift 1

Department: Inbound Operations

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inbound Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations and lead a team in receiving, processing, storing, and moving inventory throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse leadership skills, experience operating material handling equipment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key Responsibilities Lead and support daily inbound warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Coordinate the receiving, processing, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and inventory. Verify quantities, product information, destinations, and shipment timing using source documents and warehouse systems. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment (MHE) and powered lifting equipment (PLE) safely and efficiently. Utilize warehouse equipment for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and inventory movement. Perform and oversee specialized clerical and documentation activities related to inventory control and receiving functions. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures. Train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to monitor inventory and operational performance. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Required:

• 2-5 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating MHE/PLE equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience.
• Experience training and mentoring warehouse associates.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
