Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate / Counter Sales Representative who can effectively manage warehouse tasks and provide excellent customer service at the counter.

This contract position involves a split schedule between warehouse duties and counter sales. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, organizing inventory, assisting customers, and processing orders using computer systems. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both environments.

• PAY RATE: $19.00hr
• LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX 76140
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm / M-F
• POSITION: Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse skills.
• Forklift experience.
• Counter Sales or Customer Service skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to perform varied tasks.
